Ritual or shamanic dances

Ritual or shamanic dances originated in pre-historic times, thousands of years ago. Shamans and medicine men of many nations have used ritual dances for healing. The shamanic dance is a dance with a certain rhythm created by the drums. During this dance, dancers enter into a trance, allowing a connection to the primal energy of the Earth and the spiritual world without interference from the mind.

A modern version of the shamanic dance has its own characteristics. Firstly, the dance is done in a group of people who trust each other and can freely express their feelings and emotions. Several members of the group are watching the dance and create an atmosphere of security for the dancers, who are in a state of trance and, moreover, are dancing blindfolded. Dancers slowly enter into a trance state, over time, their body begins to move more freely, becomes more expressive, and at this point the body releases any stagnant energy and eliminates physical blocks.

Shamanic dances are not made in pairs, each dancer has to do it solo. Everyone does whatever is needed by his or her body. For some dancers, it will be an energetic dance, for others - slow rocking in one place or a simple contact with the mother Earth. In any case, the body of the dancer gets rid of unnecessary physical or emotional baggage and aligns with the healing energies of the Earth. Often, in addition to releasing the physical blocks, dancers experience transformation into animal spirits, or experience other people's lives. Each shamanic dance is unique and inimitable and gives a person what they specifically need at a given time.
